First Day Of School!!

Sleepy Teygan

Sleepy Teygan

So today was my first day teaching at Trinity Methodist Church. Now many would say You can’t teach the age group I care for, That’s crap Kids at the age of birth till 5 are in their highest intake learning stage. They can learn from Your emotions Your care, the way You speak, the manner in how You present Yourself, motor skills, colors, hand manipulation skills…..and so many others. I handle the 6 months to a year old children. I simply love this age group they are amazing to watch grow. I met with many of the parents and I look forward to also growing to know them. This is a ministry above all else. We are here to minister to these young children and show them the Grace and mercy of God. I am excited to be apart of a child’s development.

So I had Teygan, Adam, and Zach today. I will have three children a day which is a perfect number I would have to say. Two only stayed for an hour today just to get them used to the room and the other children taking it slowly. Now Teygan on the other hand stayed the entire time which I soaked up, of course!!!! He is a crawler I mean He is crazy fast. It was so cute I put Him down to catch the balls, or roll them around on the floor He had a blast. He did get fussy then I gave Him His juice and He fell asleep. Zach was just a laughing baby, He sat in the room on a fluff mat for a good bit of time simply watching the other kids play which was odd but precious. Adam was fussy alot He seems like He will need more time to adjust then the others which is perfectly fine. But once I got him in the high chair and fed Him His bottle I gave Him a basket of toys then He had a blast!! I am excited to see what tomorrow brings and I praise God for this opportunity.
